We are happy to announce that AMS Freight & Logistics is AEO certified starting with 19th of August 2020; and to better understand what this quality means for us, but especially for our partners, we will explain briefly in the following, what AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) represents.

The basis of the term AEO is found in the Customs-to-Business Partnership, and economic agents can be certified by customs as AEO when they demonstrate that they have the capacity to:
- achieve a safe international transport;
- guarantees the upright assumed behavior of its own employees;
- ensures the supervision of the perimeter in which it operates, in order to prevent the access of unauthorized persons who may introduce dangerous goods into the container.
All these conditions, fulfilled by the entire involved logistics chain, constitute a real added value to the logistics and transport services that our partners benefit from. AEO certification is an internationally recognized quality mark that certifies that the company's role in the international supply chain is secure. Therefore, relationship between customs authorities and the AEO should always be based on the principles of mutual transparency, fairness and responsibility.

Being preoccupied by maintaining and especially increasing the quality of the services offered to our partners, in May 2016, our company has obtained ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certificate, approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
ISO certification was an important step for our company in recognizing the competence of the organization in honouring commitments but also a source of changes and advantages such as:
